Dental microscope

One of the newest technologies used in our office is the dental microscope. The use of dental microscopes in dentistry is becoming widely accepted, and many of the finest restorative, cosmetic, endodontic dentists in the world rely on the expanded field of vision offered by magnification. At SYMEOUdental Center we use the latest generation instrument offered by Leica Microscope. The Leica Dental Operating Microscope magnifies our vision with five different settings ranging from 3x to 20x. The instrument is especially helpful when performing endodontic treatments, and also when preparing teeth for porcelain crowns and veneers. Tooth defects such as decay and fractures are also more visible under the microscope.

ZOOM!Teeth Whitening

ZOOM! Whitening is the fastest, most effective and safest method to whiten your teeth.

The ZOOM! light is used together with a light-activated gel  that is applied on your teeth.

The light activates and helps the gel to penetrate the tooth surface, resulting in up to 8 shades whiter teeth. Learn more about teeth whitening here.

Dental Lasers

2.Biolase Epic X Diode Laser is our newest laser. It is a unique laser with 3 treatment modes: soft tissue procedures, teeth whitening and pain relief. It is used in the treatment of gum and periodontal disease, gum reshaping and lifting and for the treatment of aphthas, oral ulcers and herpes wounds.

3. KaVo DIAGNOdent® is one of the industry’s most accurate decay detection aids, which helps to diagnose caries even at their earliest incipient state! In our practice, we place a heavy emphasis on preventive care. Early diagnosis and treatment is critically important to the long term health of your teeth. Recent technology such as the KaVo DIAGNOdent® uses a laser to measure the density of your tooth enamel. This allows us to detect and treat problems in their earliest stages using minimally invasive techniques before the need for more invasive treatment arises.
